Dr. Gibbons is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who was trained at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago. His experience includes working within a multitude of settings including Private Practice, Hospital and Rehabilitation, Long-term care facilities, and Universities. He works with individuals of all ages and across many different areas. Dr. Gibbons was trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) by a leading practitioner, Dr. Art Freeman, who is a distinguished Clinician, Author and Director in the field. Dr. Gibbons developed Gibbons Performance Consulting as a resource for individuals who are seeking change and improvement in their lives.

With over 10 years experience as a Clinical Psychologist, and as a graduate of The Illinois School of Professional Psychology specializing in Cognitive-Behavioral, Existential, Positive, and Motivational Therapies, he is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.
In addition to being a prominent cognitive/behavioral therapist, Dr. Gibbons has presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of; The mechanics of behavior change, sport psychology, mind and body balance, and mental imagery and sport imagery methods.
